I took this from Hamilton Park in Weehawken. On Saturday shortly after sunset.

Love this view as it really makes it clear how developed JC is. Can sometimes get lost in the shadow of NYC.

Note: The foreground does contain a lil bit of Hoboken as well

We are ranked in the teens for biggest skylines in North America. Higher than many other more famous cities

I swear everytime I see a skyline with the sky that color, I hear Baker’s Street. 😂😂😂

I had heard in the top 10!

Though I think that was for skyscrapers over a certain height. There's a few different lists. Either way, yea, we're ranked ahead of much more well known cities! Not surprising since we're also at the top for construction

With zoning law change allowing more density for more affordable units, it can hopefully grow more.

It’s decent for sure I just wish it wasn’t dominated by these ugly ass glass boxes. It just lacks a bit of character

I produce program offsites for a global company with an office in JC.

I show everyone visiting Jersey City just as much as NYC. Love this city.

I’m a mason. It’s crazy I built like five of these buildings. I’ve never seen them all in one picture thank you for this

Its definitely impressive, but kinda sad thar such an old east coast city lacks the neo deco buildings of other big cities in the north east...for as small as Newark's skyline is at the moment, it does provide a much more varied skyline with a prominent building from a wide range of architectural styles

Great pic. Left bank of the Hudson never gets enough respect due to NYC hogging the limelight.

Recommend taking all 4 sights in from the southern tip of LSP. It’s this almost Hong Kong like contiguous wall of tall — JC, midtown, downtown (Manhattan), Brooklyn.

I was at Little Island this summer, and I was surprised to see so much skyscrapers have sprouted in JC. The Jenga building is sort of the signature buliding.
