Second the Chengdu recommendation. I'm still tickled that I can get dim sum delivered to my door. Also highly recommend their hot and sour soup—it's actually hot and sour and super tasty, not just a gloopy glob.

I don't know what you're talking about, the woman works the counter is very friendly, enough so that I thought she was hitting on me, fat and gray though I am!
Just had their shredded pork with small pepper for lunch, yum stuff! I love that it's not sweet and gooey like almost all Americanized take out Chinese.

Chengdu is one of the most unassuming restaurants in jersey city. Weird location off marin in nomans land north of 14th st but always delivers (figuratively and literally)

Chengdu is solid. The dumplings are awesome. It’s expensive but you get a lot of food and it’s good.
