I’m glad it got attention rather than swept under the rug as a low income area thing. Her being a parent and teacher played a big role of course.

How about a GoFundMe? Or maybe someone can get a Venmo name from their family that people can send donation $ to? I know there have been scams with GoFundMe though so I’m not sure if people are still using that as a fundraising tool.

Their poor daughter, I don't know how you cope as a 14 year old having just witnessed your father shooting and killing your mother. I hope she has a strong extended family support system, such a tragic loss.
