OP, please listen to this guy’s advice.

Since you are posting to ask this question, you are not confident enough and a closed course (Wayne, Lodi, Rahway) will make your test much easier and less stressful.

The earliest available date is usually in Newark for a reason

Just generated one from google's Bard AI. Pretty good job if anyone wants to use it:

Dear Governor Murphy and State Legislators,

I am writing to you today to urge you to support the Liberty State Park Protection Act. This legislation would preserve Liberty State Park as a public urban green open space free of inappropriate privatization.

Liberty State Park is a national treasure. It is a place where people from all walks of life can come to enjoy the outdoors, learn about our history, and connect with nature. The park is home to a variety of natural habitats, including forests, wetlands, and meadows. It is also a popular spot for fishing, biking, and hiking.

In recent years, there have been several proposals to privatize or develop parts of Liberty State Park. These proposals would threaten the park's natural beauty and its value as a public resource. The Liberty State Park Protection Act would prevent these proposals from moving forward and ensure that the park remains a public park for all to enjoy.

I urge you to support the Liberty State Park Protection Act. This legislation is essential to protecting our state's most precious natural resource.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

[Your Name]

Please go to true dental care. They are amazing and also have the ability to make your trays in-house which passes on a huge savings to you. I had 5 months of treatment done there and was very happy with my results.

I’ve used CTOR in Hoboken. It’s right off the PATH station. They are a teaching facility as well and have the place run like a well-oiled machine. Consultation is free.

I would recommend not taking the road test in Newark.

You'll have to actually drive on the road in live traffic there -- which is something that you should obviously be comfortable doing before getting your license, but makes it way more likely that you'll make a mistake and fail.

Rahway is not much further, and if you take it there instead you'll be on a closed course with no other cars.

If the criteria to pass the test is “as good as drivers in jersey city”, then you’re free to run stop signs, red lights, you name it, there are no rules.

I completely agree that tow companies are shady and do illegal things. I have been towed twice in my life and both times I was swindled out of extra cash. One time because they "only took American Express" So I had to use their ATM which charged an insane fee and then they " didn't have change" So my option was to walk to a gas station like half a mile away or just give them an extra $15 bucks. I opted for the latter. The second time they just didn't take credit cards at all and they also "didn't have change" to give me.

But your case is based on two posters who got towed after they illegally parked. That is not a "recent uptick." That is two people who got towed after they illegally parked. I think to expose an illegal towing operation we have to start with cars that weren't supposed to be towed in the first place.

I was towed out of the same lot in 2002 - it has not happened to me since then bc I don;t park there and fo somewhere else - they don't patrol the lot - they have it all on camera and some dickhead sits in the office and watches live - sucks it happened but that's the last time it will happen to you
