I think it’s legal but not sure it’s a great idea, depending on if the other person would sue you if you crash.

If you have a learners permit only and crash your car and your passenger gets hurt or dies, would it be possible to be sued by the family of the passenger because you only had a permit? Idk tbh my comment was supposed to be framed more of like a question.

You could be sued for injuring a passenger in a crash you caused if you had a full operators license.
