The neighborhood up the hill in NE Fall River is pretty nice. Most of the towns within 30-40 minutes should be fine. If you want more urban living outside of Fall River that's not a town, you might like parts of New Bedford, and the Providence metro is nearby.

Agreed. The northern part of Fall River east of Highland Avenue around Bristol Community College is ok.
