Well personally I am surprised that is the reason he was let go, but honestly if you think about it as police chief he is meant to uphold the law. If he has trouble upholding the values of his marriage then perhaps he will be looking for gray areas in other places as well. However, this negates my argument that polyamorous people wouldn’t necessarily be discriminated against bc loads of men are having affairs and not getting fired or evicted for it.

Well apparently that’s why Somerville is trying to pass a polyamorous anti-discrimination bill, however if the idea is that conducting immoral behavior in your personal life when morality is basically your job there is no line. Things should never be do as I say but not as I do.

Should we fire cops and other first responders like firefighters for having a bad diet and eating to much junk food? If a first responder had a heart attack on route to an emergency that could endanger public safety right?
