  • No religion.
  • No shield or war type symbolism.
  • No authoritarianism theme or undertone.

Friendly, simple and easy to recognize. So, of course, you know that means they'll never pick it. lol

I just looked it up and totally agree! Way too similar! I do like the idea of a secular, no war/authoritarian imagery type of design though.

I agree. I do like the original Maine flag and I have a bunch of stuff with it on there hahaha but I’d like ours to be unique for sure
