He's beautiful. If his owner doesn't claim him, I bet he'll find a good home in no time at all.

Please keep us updated.

Doesn't he have a microchip? That might be a labradoodle.

The shelter has checked, either he doesn’t or it’s out of date.

I’m hoping so? I’m not with the shelter or anything, I’m hoping they asked local vets.

I commented in another thread, the dog apparently does have a microchip, but the chip isn't registered.

So a reminder to pet owners, make sure your pet's microchip is registered!

Well, they can contact the shelter or puppy mill that the microchip is registered to. They may be able to provide more information, as to the person they sold the dog to.

Hello,

YES, I am aware the poor dog was missing in New Hampshire. But I am also mindful that dogs (and cats) can easily cross country reasonably quickly in the wilderness. This is why an exception is made for missing or found animals from Vermont and New Hampshire. We'll also make a minor exception for towns bordering along Massachusetts from within New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island.

While we are on the topic of pets and I have your attention, posting concerning breeding or sales of animals will not be allowed, but adoption is.

I would also like to point out that r/MassPets is also another Subreddit (I have cross-posted this there, on the OP's behalf).

He looks kind of chill and happy.

You'd think if he was abused the SPCA wouldn't be so motivated to reunite him with his owners.

I'm not sure how you jumped to this conclusion from a listing of a lost dog.

Sounds like a smart dog to me. I bet they also recognize the spam link in the previous post, which allowed me to remove the previous post.

Such a good doggy.
