Go for it! Just 10 signatures for a citizen petition article at an annual town meeting, and 100 for a special town meeting (caveat: while rare, a town charter can change those numbers, so double check with your town clerk).

I'm not saying people who are caught with CP but haven't abused a kid themselves should be fed to the woodchipper, but they should at least be made to clean the bits of people who have out of them.

>Also know that the public MUST be able to speak at Town Meeting, but not every municipality has Town Meeting.
Sorry to be pedantic, but this is not exactly right. Every registered voter has the right to speak at a Town Meeting. A Town Meeting is a legislative body, and only "legislators" (voters) have an unconditional right to address it (much like only city counsellor have the right to speak in a city council meeting). Since I'm being pedantic, state and local laws also allow some others to address Town Meetings for specific things (like town department heads).
If a board has a "general public input" time, they cannot restrict who talks to even "just residents" or what they say. If a Town Meeting had that kind of "open mic" time they presumably would have to let anyone (voters and non-voters) speak, but I have never heard of a Town Meeting having that, usually you can only talk about specific warrant items.
If someone wants the long discussion of why Town Meetings (as opposed to generic town board meetings) can restrict speakers: 1st US circuit court opinion in Curnin v. Town of Egremont. It is short and readable.

I've never even heard of it before, and it's just wiping people out left and right.

I imagine a visitor from any major western European city would be dumbfounded at the state of infrastructure and public transportation in Boston these days.

To be fair, (Greater) Boston, with its huge student population, is part of the Northeast Corridor, which connects cities from Boston to DC and has the best intra- and intercity passenger rail in the US-- not that that's a very high bar, but still.

I thought we were just talking outside cities. If you want to talk about cities, it's not like buffalo is known for their pothole-free streets: /r/Buffalo/comments/sxy10m/allen_street_potholes_this_is_getting_ridiculous

North end is perfectly fine. Lived there with and without kids for years.
My uncle still lives there in a condo hasn't had any issues.
The only thing I'd warn you about is South Winds. Everything is included in rent but you don't get your deposit back.
Worst thing to happen there was the upstairs neighbor had their dog pee on the balcony and it got my roommate.

Europe isn’t some magical utopia either lol. Lots of places have shit infrastructure and shit politicians and huge income inequality too but for some reason American redditors see one picture of a bike lane in Amsterdam and a train in Germany and think that’s how all of Europe is 😂

USA is also bigger than all (most?) countries in Europe…that would be like us judging Paris for what happens in Moldova.

You clearly don’t have kids if you think people sending their kids to daycare “can’t be bothered to raise” them themselves lol. Both parents NEED to work in MA since everything is so fucking expensive. I wish we didn’t need daycare, but we do.

Insurance may not pay out if they discover the car is permanently parked in another state.
College kids usually get a pass with insurance since it’s temporary.
