It's pretty good too, and sometimes cheaper than buying fresh bacon.

Less people buy the cooked bacon vs the fresh, so the cooked goes on sale more often and steeper to clear stock.

It may not be cheaper (by weight) at first glance, but it's worth the money between fat loss and saving lots of aggravation.
