If you want a good experience, don’t use a monitor, use a proper TV. Great TVs are usually cheaper than great monitors. I use the LG C2 OLED.

There are a good few options these days too for an OLED 43” “monitor”, LG, ASUS, and Gigabyte are making them. OLED is an absolute game changer for display technology, I cant understand why it’s not seen in the mainstream as absolutely revolutionary yet.

Oled has numerous problems with image retention and screen burn. They haven't fixed this issue yet, which is why they aren't the standard.

I totally agree. there's something about the handoff between movie file coding and how it gets translated through a PC monitor. I don't have a choice. I have to use my monitor to watch movie files
