Best monitor for watching movies?

I'm a huge movie fan and watch a movie or two daily [!] My Dell S3422DWG monitor wont display colors correctly. I have to constantly fiddle with it using nvidia control panel or VLC movie player video equalizer. The dark scenes are too dark And if I turn it up, the light scenes are too light. I'm using it primarily to watch good quality movie files

Why not just hdmi to a sweet TV? They are do cheap

If you want a good experience, don’t use a monitor, use a proper TV. Great TVs are usually cheaper than great monitors. I use the LG C2 OLED.

There are a good few options these days too for an OLED 43” “monitor”, LG, ASUS, and Gigabyte are making them. OLED is an absolute game changer for display technology, I cant understand why it’s not seen in the mainstream as absolutely revolutionary yet.
