What is the ONE movie, or franchise, or role, that is sacrosanct, and should NEVER be rebooted or remade, no matter HOW much money the studio thinks it can make? And why?

For example, I’m in agreement with Robert Zemeckis in the sense that I cannot envision a scenario where the “Back to the Future” trilogy should be touched, messed with, or revisited upon, unless ALL the major players involved really felt there was something new and important to say.

I believe any further attempts at “The Godfather” saga would be a disaster.

We don’t, and never will, need a reboot of “Die Hard”.

And I thank [insert deity here] that nothing came of those rumors years ago to reboot the “Indiana Jones” franchise with Chris Pratt.
