The story of Mowgli anyway unfolds in the forests of India. It would be interesting to get an ethnically & culturally accurate version while still being entertaining for a global audience. With RRR I think he was able to prove his ability to pull off such a project. This would completely be up his ally

Rudyard Kipling was a white, British dude born in British Colonial India. It's not an ethnically and culturally accurate Indian story in the first place.
