Being a car guy and movie fan I love seeing cool cars up on the screen. But I feel there's a difference between car movies and a movie with a memorable car. Like obviously the fast and the furious films are car movies, but something like Cobra isn't a car movie but people remember the custom Mercury Stallone drove.
Another albeit obscure reference is the GTO from My Science Project (curious who else knows about that one lol)
