Feel lied to from the reviews. I was looking for a good horror flick to watch this spooky season, and Terrifier 2 had the best reviews by MILES.
Only problem, it's not horror. It's just a legal to watch snuff film. With a basically non existent plot and most of the movie being taken up by torture porn, this flick is a gore fest with none of that slasher charm. The longest scene in the film consists of the brutal torture & butchering of a underage girl.
If you're looking for horror, this isn't it. If you're looking for a way to watch women and children tortured for 2 hours, then it does a great job at that.
I understand that is a genre in itself, and it's probably the best gore fest of the year, but I feel like they should have been a bit more clear about the intentions of the film
