Hidden (2015) is the best movie I’d never heard of

I was reading about the Duffer Brothers (creators of Stranger Things), and saw they had directed the movie Hidden several years ago. I decided to give it a watch, and was absolutely blown away by how good it was! Easily one of the best movies I’ve seen in some time.

There are very few mentions of it on Reddit, which is a shame, as it’s extremely well done. If you liked A Quiet Place or 10 Cloverfield Lane, I suspect you’ll love Hidden as well!

Thanks for the recommendation! I really enjoyed Cloverfield Lane and A Quiet Place.

Plus I don't think I've ever seen any of the Duffer brothers work other than Stranger Things

Same! I figured it couldn’t be that bad, as it had a good cast and the Duffer Bros seem to know what they are doing. So happy I checked it out—I’ve been recommending it to everyone I know haha!

Saw it a couple weeks ago and I’d give it a 6-7 out of 10.

Some neat ideas, but probably would have been better as a short IMO.

I think most services like Amazon and YouTube have it for rent for a few bucks.

If you liked Hidden, you'd probably also enjoy Freaks (2018).

I almost skipped it due to the generic title, but I'm glad I didn't.

I'd recommend you skip the trailer, and maybe even the synopsis, though - as it gives too much away.
