Talos absolutely terrified me as a kid. Great movie, one I still watch on occasion. The stuff that ran out of his heel was called Ichor, which was the blood of the gods apparently, so poor Talos effectively bled to death.

What worked so well during the Talos sequence, IMHO, was not only the wonderful stop motion effects but the sound effects as well.

It truly sounded like a metallic creature’s movements, screaming metal as it moved!

As terrific as the skeleton fighting sequence was, and it too was incredible, my favorite sequence is the Talos one!
