Temple of Doom has been one of my favorites since I watched it as a kid, and after I got the trilogy for Christmas on VHS along with the Star Wars trilogy, through the syndicated versions on AMC, to now that I have the films in UHD. It really is one of my favorite films and I'm glad someone isn't just here talking shit about it.

Fun little bit of trivia, that film is the reason the MPAA had to make a PG-13 rating because before that it was only G, PG, and R.

I remember feeling let down by the second movie. The last crusade pleased me though.

I thought Short round felt forced as a character. Like Anakin Skywalker if you will. I hated the mine scenes just thought they were ridiculous.

To each their own I suppose but I would not give Temple of Doom the consideration that you think it's due.

I'd watch Last Crusade before ToD. The only decent part of ToD is the first 20 minutes.
