So I’m sitting here watching Jurassic Park, and I hear Ian Malcolm spew out the absolute dumbest line in any great movie ever, in my opinion. It’s so stupid that I have to yell at my TV every time.
Now, if he said the line when they first got off the helicopter and went through the perimeter fence for the first time, it would make perfect sense. But by the point he says the line, he has already seen the dinosaurs on the island and been taken on the tour inside the science lab. So when he decides to sound like the biggest moron ever and ask, “What do they have in there, King Kong?” All I can do is yell at my TV and say, “No, they’re freaking dinosaurs!!! Seriously, you just saw them 5 minutes ago!!” Maybe a slight overreaction, but what can I say, it bugs me.
So, any other stupid lines you can think of from otherwise great movies? Just curious about other people’s thoughts.
