I watched The Menu a few months ago in the theaters. I really liked the movie but I wasn't sure how it would fare regarding rewatches. Some of my most valued movie experiences are those that you can experience over and over, or at least a few times throughout the years.

I caught the movie again when it started streaming yesterday. Man, there's so much that I forgot. The interesting dialogues, the unique characters, how they managed to give personality and depth to so many characters on screen in a fairly short (1h47m) runtime, and a satisfying (if not, interesting) ending to boot. Regardless of knowing the ending, I found it incredibly enjoyable to experience again.

Ralph Fiennes stage presence is intimidating and demanding, and he really sells the character. For an hour or so, it feels like you're in his kitchen, experiencing what the on-screen guests are experiencing.

This isn't to take away from the other remarkable performances throughout - Anya Taylor-Joy, Nicholas Hoult, and Hong Chau, among others, add necessary depth, quirkiness, and are just perfect casts for their roles, keeping the interactions interesting and engaging.

Now, it's not a movie to watch every day, sure... but I imagine I'll revisit it a couple more times in the coming years.
