Gotta disagree. There are many towns in louisiana that would be fun as hell to live in if you were rich. The most obvious is new orleans.

Hell, Having lived in new orleans, id rather be rich in new orleans than rich in boston. Way more fun.

The music, food, social connection, and more relaxed approach to existence seals the deal, for me.

Some years ago my wife, before she was my wife, and I were dining outdoors at a nice restaurant when she suddenly shrieked and jumped out of her seat while swatting at her skirt. I leaned over to watch a massive cockroach scurrying away. Other than that, N'awlins was a helluva time!
