Happened to me as well. One of those vanilla cards, brand new unopened. Got no help from the retailer or card company.

Store clerk once told me not to buy them. Says the gal at Sams Club- they get the codes and wipe the funds once loaded- I just give cookies…. Who doesn’t want cookies??
