The time of pumpkins is over, the time of Christmas displays has begun.

Nicely done! These have held up remarkably well. I have to take my pumpkins in at night because the squirrels and chipmunks just devour them and scatter them around the yard.

I think these encapsulate a certain Christmas spirit.

Pumpkins are holiday decor.

Or is "holiday decor" code for "Christmas decorations"

Put 'em under your birdfeeders and break them apart (if not carved)...very healthy for squirrels and other animals to eat the pulp and seeds.

This is cracking me up. I’m amazed squirrels haven’t devoured those. Mine lasted like 3 days.

It’s not what’s on the outside, there’s some Christmasy looking mold inside, some green some red and pink and blue. The spirit is in the mold. Needed to scrape mine off the steps after they morphed into decking.

so, it's a public place.. it has a mat in front of the door that says "Babe Cave", and I see it when I do Pokemon near the center of town, I drive in the green space and pick up a bunch of Pokemon spins, across from the Pizza place and behind the Chinese restaurant. I spin and drive UP to go out not on Main Street, and it's a brick building, that might be part of the college or maybe part of a fraternity? Still the pumpkins are out, the other 3 are even spookier as they degrade. Sorry for the Pokemon related directions, just a little sort of brick older building that no one lives in, but it's obvious people party in. Good luck. It's been a few weeks since I took this photo and no sign of the pumpkins leaving. (I usually go up for Pokemon and I take photographs in the cemetery near the indoor athletic area, and the first cemetery in Henniker, that pays the bills, the Pokemon is just for fun). If you find out WHAT the building is used for let me know, ALSO THE KEY IS UNDER THE ICE MELT. I picked it up to get it out of the photo and was "Oh come on, you can hide a key better!"

I know, people fight with me about it. I'm up there a lot for my photography work, and it says it on the sign into town. I love it, and since I tend to photograph cemeteries, it has two really good ones for me to enjoy. But you tell someone that and they are "well, there has to be someplace else!" HA! Google, it's true!

I have a feeling this might be some sort of fraternity? or wild Sorority? the mat in front of the door says "Babe Cave". Lots of trees and squirrels but... they aren't going near the Babe Cave.
