Ban it. The government’s issue is not that it doesn’t have enough revenue. The issue is spending. If you give the govt a dollar of your hard earned money, they will spend 4 dollars. Enough. Get them out of our pockets

I don’t take criticism from people who change people’s names like children.

My daughter got married at Sunny Slope Farm in Alton. Very reasonable, but you have to do the work. Decorating, getting it catered etc. The price includes the use of the Farmhouse, which I believe sleeps 18 people. It was awesome!! They have everything you need there to decorate too...unless you want to personalize a bit. But it really was amazing!

This would be my wife's answer. I kind of enjoy the challenge of a muddy dirt road on my way home and driving a car around that looks like it went for a swim in mud though :)

The last few years have been pretty bad in Southern, NH. Only a few weeks of rideable trails with mostly bare ground between storms.

Meh, I did the math one day and save about $10k overall (i.e. between property and income taxes) over what I would be paying if I lived in MA, and I'm in a high-tax NH town. That's not even including not paying a sales tax (although our prepared meals tax is kind of high). I do live in a smaller home than I could reasonably afford though.

I mean, if you paid it in the first place, you wouldn't be in this pickle now though. Unless you're 16 and just started driving or you're brand new to the state, your ignorance of the law here is kind of mind-boggling

So is saying “max level cringe” as a singular adjective but here we both are, racing to the bottom

Pros: beautiful scenery (you'll never find a more beautiful place on earth than NH in the fall), skiing, essentially no dangerous animals, limited bugs outside of summer time, quiet, low crime rate, no sales tax.
Cons: Winters can be rough at first if you aren't used to the cold, cost of living/housing/utilities, one of the whitest states in the country, not a ton of culture, property taxes are stupidly high.

When I drive by the one in Tyngsborough, there are at least as many NH plates as MA.

I did the opposite, moved out of state for college then came back to northern NH. Best(to me) is that politics still feel real here and people can have productive conversations and make a better life for their community. Worst is that most young people after college move out of state because there are way more job opportunities elsewhere so finding young people is hard.

The lakes region. It's beautiful, to many tourists but still beautiful. More trees than people and to me that's perfect

Most dealerships have crap selection of good gear. Cycle gear at the Mall of NH is the best bet locally. But even their stock is pretty bland. Your best bet is to order off Revzilla.

I would say if you're coming to NH to go to college he won't have any trouble with a limited dating pool

There is a store called "Cycle Gear" in Manchester's Mall of NH. It's motorcycle gear not bicycle gear. It's on the 93 side of the building with access direct from the parking lot. They have a large selection of helmets which you can try on and a good selection of riding gear. I have purchased a several things from them.
