I moved here from Durham NC, and this just reminds me so much of there.
Durham, it's not just Duke students. New Haven, it's not just Yale* and Downtown. It's a good reminder.

Absolutely. New Haven mostly gets reduced to Yale and pizza, but there’s way more layers to the city than just those.
