A skulk of foxes appeared at Island Beach Park's north end, non-normative being nocturnal and solitary. Despite signs begging not to do so, vehicles threw them food and even candy.

They’ve lived on the beaches for decades. Before the condos were slapped on the waterfront in West End there were always loads of foxes in and around the dunes and jetties.
