Happy that this is finally coming to fruition. There has been talk of restoring the stadium for as long as I can remember. I didn’t think it would ever happen in my lifetime.

Few years ago I got inside and visited what I thought were once locker rooms and showers. It was spooky. Needles were present, and I did come across one junky. He was so high, I don't think he knew I was there :)

Glad this is happening and would very much love to visit.

This is an article from April 2021 though. Does anyone know how far along the project has progressed? It's written they expected to be finished by August of 2022.

EDIT: Just saw that the NJ Jackals will be playing there this year! Glad it's just about finished. There are some videos and links on their Twitter page for those interested.

It was on CBS news this morning they’ve done a lot so far. Sod was put down & painting of the the walls by the seating.
