Bought car at end of lease

From Honda Financial Services. Figured someone here might have gone through the process redently.

Got the title with some "signature of seller" on the back along with the odometer reading. The document asks me to go to the MVC as soon as possible but I'm traveling out of the country for at least the next month. How critical is it for me to go to the MVC with this immediately? Why should I even go to the MVC? Isn't the title now in my hand?

you have to get it registered in your name and get plates, if it has plates on it then the seller is an idiot.

I was leasing the car so far and I went to MVC to pay the annual registration for the car every year during the lease period. Do I still have to get new plates?
