Does anyone know of a hair place where you can get a sort of cheap curly haircut in the area? I want to get an actual haircut but everything is so expensive and I don't want to test my luck and just go to one just to get a shitty cut. TIA!

Evnia salon in Metuchen has a curl specialist although she's almost always booked so it's hard to schedule an appointment with her. An alternative would be Jen at 27 Hair Design. She's not exactly a curl specialist, hence her rate is much cheaper, but she's very knowledgeable and has done a great job cutting my curly hair so far.
