It really depends what specific towns are covered in the area. Toms River I would not consider “shore” although Lavallette for example is part of Toms River and is definitely shore. Also, why doesn’t the shore go all the way to Cape May? That is definitely shore territory.

Different people draw different maps of what they consider different areas to be. I never went further south than Island Beach State Park until I was in my 20’s (and still never been to Wildwood). So for me the shore map looks perfect, but I know it’s not all inclusive.
