ShopRite also has fake shortages of items like eggs. I live on the boarder of Pennsylvania. You can drive across the bridge and the first food store you see will have their ‘shortage items’ fully stocked and in abundance. ShopRite needs to be investigated for price manipulation. They also created a situation in NJ of zero competition through litigation and manipulation of corrupt local politicians.

Yea a 6 pack of grade a large eggs used to be .99, now goes for 3.99, since I throw half away before they expire I won’t be buying eggs anytime soon, if there’s egg shortage there should be a chicken surplus right? Did hens just decide to stop laying one a day?
