For me, depending on what you’re looking for in a desk, the easiest option is ikea or online since you don’t have to worry about getting it to your home. If going online, I’d also check Etsy, target (which has a surprisingly good inexpensive home section). It’s a bit of a hit or miss sometimes with Etsy, but I haven’t been disappointed yet. The reviews can tell you how easy it is to assemble on that end I haven’t been upset either).

The other option is something “high end” like crate and barrel or higher and they often come with free assembly since it’s so expensive.
