Not sure how much effort they may want to put but check out the herbary at bear creek in howell. It’s woodsy and a sit down dinner can be held in the greenhouse. They will need a caterer

This will be an unsustainable commute. You will quickly start thinking about moving closer or changing jobs. Also, a commute like that takes a mental and physical toll on you in a way that you’ll never be 100% sharp at work and you’ll be wiped out at home.

If people actually were "leaving in droves" house prices wouldn't be skyrocketing.

Jersey has a few styles, 3 invented here: The ripper, the Texas Wiener, and the Italian Hot Dog.
My favorite spots:
Rippers: Rutt’s. What else can be said about this place? The gold standard. Hiram’s and Jolly Nicks are similar.
People like to say Hiram’s over Rutt’s, but I think it’s due to Bourdain growing up there and shouting them out. They both use the exact same dog (Thumann’s orange label) and deep fried. Hiram’s does toast the buns and uses a size larger than Rutt’s, and usually cooks them a little less, so they seem juicer.
Texas Wiener: Hot Grill is the gold standard, but I prefer Goffle or Riverview East (RIP closed a few weeks ago). Other popular TXW’s: J&G, TXW1, White Star, Johnny & Hange’s, Jersey Johnny’s (formerly Falls View Grill), Libby’s Lunch (RIP).
There’s even a Library of Congress collection about the Texas Wiener and it’s history along the Passaic river area.
Italian Hot Dog: Jimmy Buff’s invented it and is the most famous, but give me Tommy’s in Elizabeth or Dickie Dee’s instead.
DWD: Hard to choose here cuz there’s too many options, but I love Hot Dog House. Randy the Hot Dog Guy rocks too.
Trucks: Curbside Cafe, Amabile’s, Dee’s Hut, Munce’s. JJ’s is the most popular truck in the state.
Some personal favorites:
Tommy’s Carteret; Delicious food all around. Daddee Dogz, great dogs and cool dude.
Maui’s Dog House, best stop around Wildwood.
Andy’s Roadside Dive, wacky creations.
Designer Dawgs.
Destination Dogs, fancy bar hotdogs.
Mitch’s Roadside Grill. Paul’s Place.
Boulevard Drinks, Clone of the NYC Papaya joints.
Lover Dogs.
Disclaimer: haven’t hit all the spots SW of like Brunswick yet, but I’ve gotten every spot in north jersey.

Do you actually know any houses where you live that are corporate owned?
I don't personally know of a single family property in my town or any other town that has a corporate owner.

That's what I'm saying, what if it's an emergency and they don't got a phone, or need more immediate assistance? Are you gonna answer the door? Is acting frantic and and loud going to make you more likely to answer the door then?
And regarding the second point, if you had left your headlights on or had some issue that wasn't an emergency, you wouldn't want to be informed of it?

You can't believe census data, when the census was done hubby and I were counted at our daughter's Florida address, but we really were in our motorhome in California. Fulltime RVer's use services for their address or a family member. Mostly Florida, Texas and South Dakota for tax reasons. They estimate that there are over a million people that are wandering nomads living in RVs. We gave all that up and are back in NJ where mostly sane people live.

Oh yeah PNW is fucked and erroneously gets a rep that somehow the upticks in homelessness is all drugs and vagrants when there's a fuckload of common as can be working people over time getting slapped up with prices being absurd with quite literally no where to go or sensible setup for living.
For NJ it already doesn't make a ton of sense to stay here if you're just not taking in a certain amount and honestly I would not be shocked if just things further evaporate and all that's left are archetypal situations of stacking in an apartment strength in numbers style complete with a commute that makes no sense whatsoever.
Not sure if we'll get a bombed out period and crime wave though but then again after a certain point what's really stopping someone in such dire desperate situations from crossing the line to felonious acts to survive, y'know?

Was praying Mercer was on the list, but having monitored home prices in the Hamilton area for awhile, I knew it wasn't the case.

Bicentennial Park in East Brunswick is a nice spot to walk around and explore!

In terms of connectivity it really is, but other than that the lack of trains and the fact that a lot of destinations are located off of highways means it's difficult to live without a car, at least in Bergen/Passaic counties which I'm most familiar with.

As someone that has a 1.5hr commute each way to midtown on NJ Transit Train, move to NJ or don't accept the job. It's already grueling enough with time wasted not to mention the cost of commuting (around ~$30 each day... yours would be significantly higher).

If it's an emergency, knock and yell or something or call the police. Don't bother people at home unless it's an actual emergency.

IMO Campozino & Portuguese Fisherman are much better. Also Campozino has great staff that really keep an eye out for their customers, which is great for a first date.

I would recommend making a reservation if possible if it is a weekend day but during the week should be fine. I'm pretty sure they have a seating app they use to show wait times.

Yes I love this park and was coming to suggest it. They also have a rose garden and old maintenance cottage that would make a nice area for photos. Colonial Park Photos
