Sadly, productivity gains can't offset the simple fact that there are fewer and fewer workers paying into the system to support each retiree.

I don't know about France but in the US the limit for withholding will be raised to $160,200 this year. That means a person claiming a yearly income of $2,000,000 will contribute the same as a person claiming $160 grand.
