The infected child is from Franklin County and recently traveled to a country with confirmed measles cases. ODH is currently not disclosing additional information about the infected individual.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) notes that as of June 3, 2022, a total of 3 measles cases were reported by 2 jurisdictions (jurisdictions refer to any of the 50 states, New York City, and the District of Columbia).
