My wife was sexually assaulted in 8th grade and her notebook was found that detailed it. The teacher read it and turned it in and the principals suspended her for 5 days and nothing happened to the male student.

Not surprised; they do the same thing with bullying, with death threats and robbery.

The entire system revolves around "teaching" kids to take what's done to them and that fighting back is the real violence.

Because the only thing abusers fear, is their victim fighting back effectively.
