2 near-misses in 2 years does not seem sustainable. Not really your fault tho, this is not really a one man job. Would be kinda hard to try and explain this to authorities tho I guess. Also who takes over when you leave in the morning?

As u/Joran212 correctly inferred, there are plenty of eyes on the paintings during the day. But I understand everybody’s confusion. I’m confused. So many unanswered questions. I have considered this for months, but I need to summon the courage to visit Harper.

I think they don't need a guard during the day since there'll be visitors looking at the paintings. They won't know it, but they're the ones reminding those creatures to stay in there during the day.
