Is that big table still nearby? If that monster is trying to find you with sound, set your phone to sound an alarm clock in one minute. Count 45 seconds, open the door, and throw it at the table.With any luck, the table will fall because of the damaged legs. That and the alarm will keep it busy while you flee. Then you better already be running!

But what if its got eyes that can see well in the dark but not that well in light. But even if you're right the creature leapt from kai(near the exit) to jasper(up the the stairs) with one leap so op would never be fast enough. Only reason allison escaped was cus the ratman was still eating jasper
