With the terms "demon" and "spirit" I always associated something pure evil. That's why I didn't think he could be a demon or a spirit. Your description of that sounds not like that. Evil on one hand but helpful on the other. The story of your friends mother sounds interessting although my family doesn't get affected like your friends one. Maybe because of I live alone without a family.

What you said about the meds also sounds like Fred. He also said that they won't affect him, as my psychiatrist prescribed them to me.

As I just wrote as an answer to another comment, Fred also helps me with other little things like not get caught by the police when I drive but I'm not completely sober again by telling me where I can drive and where not.
