There are still plenty of $1 slice spots, especially in mid town.

Yeah 99c still goes hard. Pizza sucks but hey it's the experience that counts. They need to start selling merch for tourists who come visit tho or else idk how they are going to stay afloat.

99 cent fresh pizza is wayyy better than 2 bros imo

Last time I was in NY I went to “4 Boy .99 Pizza” It wasn’t as good as 2 bros but not that bad.
It’s at 252 W 31st

I actually like that MORE than 2 Bros. It's not as doughy tasting and tastes closer to normal pizza

Oh man, you were so close to Rocky’s II

The $1 place a block east of Joes TS is great for a slice while waiting in line at Joes.

I know that place quite well. It is right near my job. It is on the upper end of dollar slice places I have gone to.

Used to be, but lately they've been skimping on the sauce and cheese.
sirzoop t1_jd3242v wrote
Even then 2 bros is still $1.50 does it really make that big of a difference? I'm a big fan of theirs and don't mind paying a whole 0.50 extra
4BDN t1_jd35jl2 wrote
Yeah 50 cents isn't a big deal if you like it over other dollar slice places. I used to go to a place near Baruch that had $1.50 slices that were decently better than normal dollar slice places.
marishtar t1_jd3t05v wrote
And we're going to see the same headline about those, too. Again, and again, and again...
Going off of headlines, I would've thought the $1 was done years ago.

And you should continue to not eat any of that greasy cardboard.
4BDN t1_jd7ov0i wrote
What kind of cardboard boxes do you have that they are made of pizza?
ShadownetZero t1_jd7pb5z wrote
It's not pizza, that's the point.
