As in any other job, your personal opinions if shared can put you at risk of losing you Jon. I don't know why the NBA is any different. Usually, I feel like they're pretty strict at how you behave off the court

NBA players are more like contractors than employees. Let's say you're the best damn plumber in town, but you're also a virulent antisemite. There are some people who'd bare it and listen to him rant about "the globalists" because they really need their pipes unclogged, and there are people who'd rather go with a second-rate plumber who's not a whackjob. People can choose not to support the antisemitic plumber just like they can choose to boycot the nets.

Except at this point your plumbers business has a losing record and your plumber has never shown the ability to make the team better without a much better plumber as their boss

Maybe, maybe not. This is more Dany Ainge linking the book of Mormon than tweeting "my white players are delightsome"

I got flames for saying the same when Kappernick did it. Your job is not your personal platform. I got flamed a ton, but look whose not playing. Reality is truth.

Eh. There's a difference between standing up for your community and making wild accusations and being hateful towards other communities

From the perspective of the employer, or from that of a bystander activist?

Employer. One is marketable and inoffensive. The other isnt.

That's debatable. Lot of people don't like BLM. And no, people don't have to be racist to not like BLM.

So hating Jews is more marketable than BLM by your calculations?

Do you just come here to argue or do you actually believe what you're saying?

I believe what most people practice. Do not use your employer as a platform to express your political views; or you may face repercussions for your actions. I think this is what most employers expect and most employees do.

Good views are good views bad views are bad views, people are less likely to get fired for good things I hope this helps!

You got “flamed” because it was an incredibly stupid and pearl-clutchy take. Hope that helps

Go ahead, light it up at work tomorrow and make a stand for your cause. See how it goes.

Did Kaepernick do something you think is fireable?

Don’t ask me. Ask the teams who haven’t signed him why.

Not wanting to hire someone is not the same as having a reason to fire them.
