Why would you need 7500 sq ft for a dispensary in a highly dense, expensive, urban area?
Because Housing Works is a growth oriented business that looks more and more like a for profit enterprise than a true non profit. They are to non profits today what NYU is to "non profit" education.
This isn’t relevant to my question.
They want big to make big $$$$.
Outside of the mega stores. I’d doubt there is realistic analysis that larger square footage results in proportional increases in profit.
They can do a lot with that space. And since it is so dense and it’s one of the first dispensaries, I imagine big crowds. They might also be able to do some growing and or processing in the building.
They can’t. Growing licenses are separate
What can they do? I’ve been to a lot of dispensaries, except the mega stores which are totally impractical here, they usually work best as small operations. That’s kinda their thing. It’s inexpensive to operate and takes a small foot print.
