For a year, we’ve had a nice little stack of money that was getting ridiculous to keep in my bank’s standard savings account. Every few years I would Google best high yield savings account, read Reddit threads, obsess I wouldn’t pick the very best one.

Suddenly today something clicked that the differences between the major competitors are marginal but the difference between the money sitting in my current low interest rate savings vs literally any of the high yield accounts was substantial.

Kicking myself it took a year or more to reach this incredibly obvious conclusion. Posting here as a nudge in case anyone else struggles with black and white thinking/perfectionism like this.
