Check your credit and bank accounts regularly, identity theft is not fun.

Just wanted to give a friendly reminder to check your credit reports and bank accounts regularly. Got an alert from Experian this morning that a new credit card application was submitted with my name and SSN on it, I haven’t applied for a new credit card in a few years. Have spent all morning on the phone with banks and police to get things sorted. Thankfully I caught it early and was able to lock my credit.
