I spent most of my life working in the service industry and living paycheck to paycheck. I never had a chance to start saving for retirement. I finally have a job where I can (making 70k a year) and they offer retirement. They offer both a Traditional 401k and a Roth 401k. After reading a ton of articles I still don’t know which to go with.

I am a junior front end developer at my first job in this field. I expect my income to at least double in the next 5-10 years. But also can’t guarantee it. Many articles said I’d you expect your income to go up to do a Roth 401k but while I expect it to go up I don’t know how far up it will go.

Can I get any advice on which to choose?
