For context, I work at a callcenter job (Male 22yo) in Canada. A lot happened for a while, but I am at a point of panic attacks and breakdowns from normal tasks I was able to do perfectly fine before. This job is a source of anxiety to an unhealthy point that I'm currently seeking medical and mental help. I am working towards some diagnosis that will let me benefit differently from others (ASD). but this process takes months and I am at a loss of what my next move should be for finances mostly. Quitting this job is imminent as I broke through the breakpoint of being able to handle it.

To make matters more clear, I am NOT seeking medical help and I am NOT seeking career advice.

I'd like help on what I should prepare for and what my next step should as it's the first job I'm ever quitting. Do I take a medical leave first and take the money from that salary towards living off after for a bit? or maybe I should take some evidence with me and appeal for the government giving me money. Basically I'm seeking advice on how to float for a bit after quitting since I won't be able to switch to the next job.

I can clarify anything in the comments. Any advice is welcome, even brutally honest ones

You get another job before you quit the one you hate.
