I’m not quite sure if this is the correct sub to post this to, so please forgive me.
I recently inherited an empty 5 acre plot of land outside of town by my Dads cherry orchard. The plot only has a small shed, no well, and to be quite honest, I’m not quite sure what to do with it. My initial thought was just to expand the cherry orchard onto my land as it’s right next to each other, but I hated working in the orchard as a kid and I don’t want to do it as an adult.
I’ve been brainstorming ideas as what to do with the land agricultural wise. For reference, the land is zoned for agriculture or personal use, so I’m fairly certain I cannot build rentals or anything like that out there (plus I’m not sure if there’s a market for folks wanting to rent a place that’s at least 25 mins outside of town).
I guess I’m looking for ideas on what to do with the plot of land that will be signed into my name in April.
