You have to ask yourself why things are that way. Does certain clothing suddenly make it okay to antagonize or attack people? Would you publicly boo someone who likes different music than you, or eats different food, or looks different? Maybe some football fans don't "know what they're getting into." Wearing a jersey shouldn't mean you're "getting into" anything.

Ngl this is a bad argument and it’s all pretty self explanatory. If you know enough about sports to wear a jersey you know what you’re getting into. You just listed a bunch of comparisons that have no relevance, comparing apples to oranges
